Buenos Aires: Influencers Were Involved in the Investigation.

On Tuesday, October 22, 16 influencers began giving testimony as part of a judicial investigation into their promotion of unregulated gambling sites that allow minors to participate. The investigation, led by prosecutor Juan Rozas from the recently created Specialized Gambling Prosecution Office in Buenos Aires, involves several raids and arrests.

Among those summoned to testify are well-known figures such as Elián “L-Gante” Valenzuela, Florencia Peña, Florencia Vigna, Morena Rial, and others. The proceedings, which began with Alma Berezowski, will continue through the end of November.

The influencers are accused of violating Article 301 bis of the Penal Code, which criminalizes operating, managing, or promoting gambling activities without the necessary legal authorization. This offense carries a potential prison sentence of up to six years. Evidence, including screenshots and videos of the promotions, has been collected by the prosecution.

One of the key platforms under investigation is “casino online zeusoficial,” which allegedly operated without proper registration. This case marks the first time influencers in Argentina have been brought to court for promoting illegal gambling, highlighting the increasing concern over the involvement of minors and potential connections to money laundering.
